I have a little thing I guess you could call a band with my family and a friend. I play the fiddle, my mom plays the guitar, and my grandma and a friend play the mandilen. We have a good time just hanging out, even if my grandma is in the band. haha Age doesn't matter in the band. As long as you're good you're in. I really enjoy time with my band. Hopefuly others get the same pleasures I do.
I have a Goth/ Black metal band though it's more of a stress release than anything serious. We enjoy making frightening, dark, loud beautiful, stunning music, at least we claim it is others might call it the racket from hell, our guitarist finds that very amusing.
I was in a rock/blues band that went through a few incarnations in the south of England, we did a lot of regional shows. I was the lead vocalist and lead guitarist. i also engineered and produced our promo CD. since i've been in New York, I've been in one band but the drummer wasn't reliable and it fell apart. I'm currently looking to join a touring band and am also trying to start a solo project for my original material. for more info, you can check out http://www.cameronstrife.com
well, up until about two months ago, I ad my own band for close to two years--though it was more of a weekend jam band.
Now, only the guitarist and me are left, and it's great fun doing multi-tracked sonar recordings where you can be your own drummer/basist/whatever.
lol
I was in a few bands between 2005 and 2007. hear are the following.
Mad mick and the mutants, blues - rock band that fell apart when all the members baring me left college for benefical, health, or work reasons.
Beyond Black, Rock, Punk, Metal still going today. just a bass player, a guitarist and of course me! we write material and play it in front of the local crowd in Nottingham, with a view in taking it further a field. We're also looking for a vocalist as well.
Raised on riots, Rock, Punk band half female - half male band with a fe-male singer and bass player, and my old band mate from Beyond Black guitarist and me. i left the band after 10 months, diden't find the writing kemostry as easy as Beyond Black.
Crash test heroes, a Rock - accoustic rock band. but i quit after 2 months, because of the lack of attendence from other band members.
IDST [In Death Still True] classic rock band, probably the biggest band i've been in with 6 members, 3 guitarists, a bass player, a vocalist and me of course lol. Band fell apart after 2 weeks after differences in musical taists.
I also played behind a singer songwriter who also played guitar, but he sacked me and the other 2 band members who was in the backing band with me.
So at the moment, Beyond Black is the only project i'm involved in.
Check out their myspace at www.myspace.com/beyondblack69
I played drums in all of the projects.
Few! that was a hell of a lot!
I am the keyboardist for a metal band that sounds like a cross of Nightwish and Evergray. I can only dream of being as good as the keyboardist from Nightwish. We are currently working on recording a few of our songs. We are still looking for a vocalist so our songs are instrumental. We are also missing a bass player so I have to fill that in with my keyboard.
nice send us a link to some of your stuff when its available to check out deadnight.
